What this shortlist is
This is a list of general Chinese almanac reference dates for 2027 — dates a published Chinese wedding almanac lists as auspicious for marriage generally, for anyone. It is meant as a starting point — something to skim while you are still exploring your planning window, before you commit to a venue or a date. It is not Daniel's personalised date selection.
What this shortlist is not
It is not a personalised recommendation. Nothing on this page has been checked against your birth chart, your partner's birth chart, or your parents' details. A date that looks favourable here can still clash with one partner's chart — and a date that is not on this list at all can be exactly right for the two of you specifically. Only a personalised selection can tell you that.
Source & methodology note: This shortlist of 130 general Chinese almanac reference dates is compiled from chinesecalendaronline.com’s published 2027 wedding-date almanac. We cross-checked it against a second public almanac (yourchineseastrology.com) for six months of the year and found an exact match on every date checked. Source B and Source C likely share or syndicate the same underlying dataset, so their exact match should not be treated as two independent methodological confirmations. A separate, smaller public almanac (45 dates) disagreed with this list on the majority of dates for the year — that is common, because different almanac publishers apply different subsets of the traditional date-selection rules, and not all of them disclose which rules they use. We are not merging the conflicting lists silently; the full comparison is documented in our internal methodology notes. Weekday and weekend calculations on this page are computed directly from the calendar, not sourced from any third party. Singapore has 11 public-holiday days in 2027 across 10 named holiday occasions, because Chinese New Year has two public-holiday dates — confirmed directly against the official Ministry of Manpower gazette. Malaysia holiday badges are intentionally left out for now, because no official Malaysian government 2027 public-holiday source is available yet. A "7th lunar month" avoidance filter is intentionally not offered yet, because it requires a verified Gregorian-to-lunar date conversion we have not yet validated for 2027.
