The short answer
Of the 130 general Chinese almanac reference dates for 2027, 41 fall on a weekend — 21 Saturdays and 20 Sundays. These are derived directly from YuanFen's canonical 2027 dataset by calendar logic (day-of-week), not a separately maintained list — if the underlying dataset is ever corrected, this page updates with it.
Saturday vs Sunday
Most Malaysia and Singapore couples default to Saturday for an evening banquet, since it is easiest for guests to attend. Sunday dates are worth a look too — venues are sometimes more available or better priced, and this year's list has 20 Sunday dates against 21 Saturdays, so you are not giving up much choice by considering both.
How to shortlist a few dates
Start from the table below, narrow to the months your planning window actually allows, then check those specific dates against your venue and guest availability before deciding whether to pursue a personalised chart-matched date from that narrower list.
A weekend date being generally auspicious does not make it personally suitable
Every date below is a general almanac reference — favourable for the public at large, based on the calendar day alone. None of them have been checked against your birth chart, your partner's chart, or your parents' details. A Saturday that looks good here can still clash with one partner's chart specifically.
